The Hanging Church, Abu Serga, and the Church of St. George
The Hanging Church, so called because it was erected above the southern gate towers of the fortress, is the most conspicuous monument in the district. Staircases lead from the Hanging Church's entrance down to the present-day level, which is much higher than when it was first built.
